Thai Foot Massage
Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the lower legs and feet that involves hands on stretching and massage to “open” Sen (energy) Lines, along with the use of a stick to stimulate the reflex points on the feet which correspond to the internal organs of the body. Thai Foot Massage stimulates these points to promote general health and wellbeing.
A Treatment in Thai Foot Massage will usually last for one hour and the last 15 minutes chakras are balanced using Pomander essences.
Thai Foot Massage takes it’s origins from China where the art has been practiced for over 5000 years. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean foot masseuses have developed Thai Foot Massage further, as seen everywhere in Thailand today.
Traditional Thai Foot Massage stimulates (often using a Thai Massage stick) the internal organs, giving the receiver a holistic treatment.

What to expect from your Thai Foot Massage treatment?
During your treatment, a brief consultation will be undertaken to determine which issues or symptoms need to be addressed.
Once the key areas have been identified, you will be encouraged to relax to the accompaniment of soothing, calming and relaxing music.
During the hour of treatment both feet are cleaned and the feet are stretched and rocked from side to side to gently loosen the ankle ligaments. One foot is wrapped (this keeps the foot warm) while the other is treated. This process is repeated on the other side later.
Using pressure that is acceptable, the foot is massaged, stretched and stimulated using the Thai Foot Massage Stick, various pressure points are pressed and or rubbed and this stimulates healing internally.
The leg muscle is stretched and using effleurage motion the muscle is fanned to release toxins and encourage drainage of the lymphatic system.
During the last fifteen minutes, both feet are wrapped and a Chakra Balance (Energy Centres) is given using a chosen Pomander essence (optional). The feet are then unwrapped and patted briskly over the top of the foot with open hands, rocked side to side and stretched. This stimulates the feet further and ends the session.
